A program to educate for equality, inside and outside the classroom

Educaigual 2025 is a prevention and awareness-raising initiative designed to support the educational community
in building safe, inclusive, and respectful environments. The program addresses equal opportunities,
challenging stereotypes, and developing responsible behaviors, with a special focus on coexistence
and communication on social media.

Through educational resources, participatory activities, and audiovisual content, it promotes critical reflection and
learning practical tools to identify and prevent situations of discrimination or gender-based violence,
as well as to strengthen coexistence and shared responsibility skills.

What does Educaigual 2025 aim to achieve?

  • Promote equal opportunities and relationships based on respect.
  • Prevent gender-based violence through affective-relational education and early detection of risk factors.
  • Identify and dismantle gender stereotypes and roles that limit personal development and social interaction.
  • Foster responsible and shared responsibility in educational and family settings.
  • Enhance digital coexistence: nonviolent communication, critical thinking, and online safety.
  • Promote a culture of respectful treatment and peaceful conflict resolution.

Actions taken

Educational intervention

The program was developed through sessions and activities adapted to the classroom and school context, combining participatory dynamics, case studies, and spaces for dialogue. Everyday situations related to coexistence, language, stereotypes, and violence prevention were addressed, also incorporating the impact of digital content on socialization.

Communication and awareness

As a reinforcement, short audiovisual pieces have been created to facilitate clear and accessible messages about equality, shared responsibility, respectful behavior, and the proper use of social media. These videos serve as support material for classroom work and as an awareness-raising channel to reach the wider educational community.

Results and impact

Educaigual 2025 contributes to strengthening equality and respectful treatment in the educational environment, fostering meaningful learning and providing concrete tools to identify stereotypes, prevent risky behaviors, and improve coexistence.
The combination of in-person activities and audiovisual resources facilitates continuity of work beyond a single session, allowing for review and discussion at different points throughout the course.

Qualitatively, improvements have been observed in the identification of disrespectful behaviors, a broader vocabulary for expressing boundaries and emotions, and increased awareness of the impact of language and social pressure dynamics (especially in digital environments).

How it works

  • Active learning: interactive activities, guided discussions, and examples relevant to students' lives.
  • Equality perspective and preventative approach: identifying early warning signs and promoting respectful treatment.
  • Digital competence: critical analysis of messages, online etiquette, and online safety.
  • Audiovisual materials: reinforcement of concepts and continuity over time.

Cómo se evalúa

The evaluation combines indicators of participation, classroom observation, and feedback from stakeholders,
with the aim of improving implementation and adapting the content to the context of each school.

Typical indicators (for guidance only): understanding of key concepts (equality, stereotypes, violence), changes in attitudes, participation in activities, and use of respectful communication tools.
